Disclosure: Foundry PC wrote this comparison and is one of the options compared. Criteria: who owns the PC, whether pricing is published, whether you keep your own entity, and which product you are buying. Competitor details come from each vendor's public website as of the review date above.

Foundry PC is not a law firm. General information only, not legal advice. Wheel is a trademark of its owner, used here nominatively so you can tell the products apart.

Foundry vs Wheel is a product comparison, not a claim that the companies sell the same thing. Foundry PC forms your MSO-PC for the states you operate ($15,000) and matches a friendly PC owner who owns that Professional Corporation ($3,000/mo). Wheel's public site describes a virtual-care platform and clinician network. Its published CPOM guide explains the Friendly PC / MSO model and says companies like Wheel can aid partners determining go-to-market structure, including in some cases access to a nationwide PC structure. Foundry does not operate Wheel's clinician network. Foundry also does not sell a plug-in 50-state PC. See why not a Super PC.

Sources for Wheel's column, reviewed 5 November 2026: wheel.com, Wheel's CPOM guide for virtual care companies, Wheel's physician-executive guide, and Wheel Terms of Use (Wheel Provider Group professional entities named for NJ, NY, CA, FL, IL, and WA). Foundry publishes $15,000 formation and $3,000/mo matching. Wheel's public pages reviewed here do not publish a matching formation price. Confirm Wheel's current offer and price on its own site. Nothing here is a review of Wheel's clinical quality.

Side by side

Foundry PCWheel (public positioning)
What you are buying Scoped MSO-PC formation plus a matched physician who owns your PC. You keep the entities. Virtual-care clinician network and platform services. Public CPOM materials explain a Friendly PC model used with digital-health companies.
Who owns the PC A friendly PC owner on your cap table. $3,000/mo. Multi-state coverage is a licensed physician for your entity, not a shared shell. Terms of Use name Wheel Provider Group professional entities (for example NJ, NY, CA, FL, IL, WA). Wheel's CPOM guide also describes helping partners with structure, including in some cases a nationwide PC structure. That is their coverage language, not Foundry's product.
Clinical staffing Not the product. Your PC employs or contracts the clinicians for the practice. Foundry does not run a provider network. Clinician network and virtual visits are core public offers. Wheel Health, Inc. states it does not itself provide medical services; the Provider Group does.
Technology and operations Not included. The MSO you form can contract for those services. Foundry's fee is formation and PC-owner matching. Public materials describe platform and care-delivery infrastructure alongside the clinician network.
Price $15,000 one-time formation. $3,000/mo PC owner. No matching public formation price found on the pages reviewed. Confirm on wheel.com.
CPOM paperwork Operator CPOM 50-state guide and CPOM compliance: physician shareholder, FMV MSA, claim TIN on the PC. Public CPOM guide educates on Friendly PC / MSO structure and clinical control staying with the physician owner.

How to read the nationwide PC line

Wheel's published CPOM guide, reviewed 5 November 2026, explains the Friendly PC model and says digital health companies like Wheel have become important for navigating state complexity, including in some cases access to a nationwide PC structure for client partners. Read that as their description of their infrastructure and partner support. It is not a description of Foundry. Foundry's product is the opposite shape: your Professional Corporation, your physician owner, an MSO you control for non-clinical work, and an MSA at fair market value.

If what you want is a clinician network and virtual-care platform already standing, Wheel is in that category and Foundry is not. If what you want is a diligence file (named owner, scoped articles, FMV MSA, claim TIN in the PC) for a company you will operate, start with MSO-PC formation and a friendly PC owner. Teams sometimes need both a care-delivery partner and their own entities. The words "Friendly PC" and "50 states" can show up in both, but they are different purchases.

Utah is a concrete example of why the line matters. Utah patients need a domestic professional entity. See Utah CPOM. When Utah patients are in scope, Foundry forms a domestic Utah entity. Other states have their own share and licensure rules on the CPOM 50-state guide.

A medical director listed on a platform is still not a PC owner. For a formation-vendor comparison in the same category as Foundry, see Foundry vs Permit Health and why not a Super PC.

FAQ

How does Foundry compare to Wheel?

Foundry forms your MSO-PC ($15,000) and matches a physician owner of that PC ($3,000/mo). Wheel publicly offers a clinician network and virtual-care infrastructure and publishes education on the Friendly PC model. Use Foundry when the missing piece is the entity file. Use a clinician-network vendor when the missing piece is care delivery capacity.

Does Wheel sell the same thing as a friendly PC owner?

Not as Foundry sells it. Friendly PC owner matching puts a licensed physician on your Professional Corporation. Wheel's public materials describe its Provider Group entities and partner support around Friendly PC structure. Those words are theirs. Foundry does not sell that network. See why not a Super PC.

What does Foundry charge compared with Wheel?

Foundry publishes $15,000 formation and $3,000/mo matching. Wheel's public pages reviewed for this comparison do not publish a matching formation price. Confirm their current price on wheel.com.
